It was a beautiful day in spring. King Arthur, the ruler of Britain, and one of his followers, the famous Green Knight, were engaged in a sparring match. „This time I am going to beat you, Sire.“, the Green Knight announced. „“Remember, my friend;“, the King replied, „no-one can actually beat Excalibur.“ „Don't take my hope away, Mylord, you are spoiling all the fun.“, the Green Knight said.

Suddenly the two fighters heard a cry. It was a woman's cry. „Listen, Sire, there must be a damosel in distress.“, the King reckoned.
